Fold Studio
A Lisbon architecture and interior practice built around restraint, light, and material honesty. We shaped their identity and digital presence from the ground up.
Brief
Fold Studio approached us with a clear conviction: they wanted a brand that felt as considered as their buildings. No excess. No decoration for its own sake. The practice works across residential and hospitality projects in Lisbon and the Alentejo — spaces defined by the Portuguese light, raw plaster, and the weight of old stone. The challenge was to translate that sensibility into a visual language that could hold its own on a business card, a construction site hoarding, or a full-screen browser.

The FOLD wordmark is set in a wide, low-contrast grotesque — calm and authoritative. The geometric mark is built from two overlapping planes, referencing the studio's name and their interest in how surfaces meet: wall to floor, interior to exterior, old to new.
Website
The digital home
The site is built around the work. Projects come first — full-bleed, unhurried. The studio section is kept deliberately sparse. Contact is a single email. Nothing competes with the photography.

Design Principles
What guided every decision
Restraint
Remove everything that doesn't earn its place. If it doesn't serve the work, it goes.
Light
Colour and space should breathe. White isn't absence — it's the canvas the architecture lives on.
Durability
The identity should feel as permanent as the buildings. No trends, no decorative flourishes.
