BEETHOVEN
An international hairstylist's digital home — built for editorial presence, seamless bookings, and a visual identity as precise as a haircut.
Brief
Beethoven — stage name of Etienne Sekola — is an international hairstylist and visagist operating between Paris and New York. The brief was to create a complete digital presence: a website that felt as crafted as his work, a brand identity that would hold across print and screen, and an integrated online booking system that removed all friction between a new client and their first appointment.

The wordmark is set in Josefin Sans SemiBold — wide spaced, deliberate, impossible to mistake. The scissors icon distills the craft into a single, clean symbol. Dark on cream, cream on black — the identity works across every surface without needing colour to carry it.
Website
The digital portfolio
The website is built around the portfolio. Editorials, campaigns, and celebrity work are presented in a tight, cinematic grid — full bleed, unhurried. The hero is full-screen, dark, and cinematic. Navigation is minimal. The 'Book a session' call-to-action is always in view.
